Hi loves,
It’s Friday, and we’ve been thinking about how much comes at us in a week. Things to buy. Places to go. Advice about who we should be by now. By the weekend, even deciding what to listen to can feel like another decision.
So this week’s Worth Knowing is five things that have stayed with us. A couple we’ve spent our own money on. A couple that made us think. And one that costs nothing.

The thing we keep repurchasing: Epetōme. We’re usually sceptical of supplements, especially when they promise to fix a problem you didn’t know you had. We’ve both found this one helps us feel less bloated, and we like that taking it is simple. That’s our experience, rather than a promise about what it’ll do for anyone else.
The conversation we’d put on for a walk: Poorna Bell on Happy Place. Have you ever stopped wanting the life you worked for? This conversation left us thinking about the goals we’ve spent years working towards without stopping to ask whether we chose them. That question can feel unsettling in your thirties, especially when you’ve worked hard to get where you are. But changing your mind doesn’t mean all that work was for nothing. You’re allowed to want something different now.
The book we’re still thinking about: Start With Yourself by Emma Grede. What stayed with us was the feeling that ambition doesn’t have to come with a fixed picture of how your life will turn out. You can have built something, be proud of it, and still be curious about what else is possible.
The treatment we’d happily book again: a buccal facial. It sounds strange until you’re lying there realising how much tension you’ve been holding in your jaw. We’d look for someone properly trained, and we’d leave enough time afterwards to enjoy feeling relaxed instead of rushing straight to the next thing.
And the one that costs nothing: saying something kind about yourself out loud. We’ve read so many messages from women who can describe exactly what they got wrong, then brush past everything they managed to do. We recognise that in ourselves too. If you’re meeting a friend this weekend, you might tell her what you’re proud of. We hope you let yourself say your own answer as well.
That’s our edit for this week. [The full post is here] if you want to send it to the group chat.
And if that question about the life you’ve worked for brought something up, you can reply and tell us. You can also tell us if you try, read or listen to any of these. We’d love to know what’s made your cut lately too.
Love,
Abbey & Bianca x
